As you can imagine, πkea is a parody of Ikea.

Princeton Architectural Press recently sent me a copy of Obsessive Consumption. What did you buy today?

I have to confess that at first I didn’t understand the book, since it is full of colorful drawings, but after paying more attention I found it very funny and entertaining.

The book, actually the drawings in the book, represent a selection of three year purchases of artist Kate Bingaman-Burt using all kind of patterns, lines and typographies.

The reason I’m sharing the book with you is that I spotted some Ikea products. Really cute Ikea drawings

Spotted! SPONTAN Magazine Rack in Grey’s Anatomy

While I was searching for the ANEBODA Wardrobe in Grey’s Anatomy I saw this photo. At first I just thought “I have seen those chart holders before” and then it got to me… those are SPONTAN Magazine Racks from Ikea.

I really didn’t notice anything while watching the series, because it just looks like a right and professional way to hold the charts. Did you notice them?

Spotted! ANEBODA Wardrobe in Grey’s Anatomy

At the beginning of Grey’s Anatomy I used to see the ANEBODA Wardrobe in any hospital room, and if you don’t believe me, here is the proof.

It seems they removed them because I don’t see them anymore… And wait, is that a MALM Drawer Chest on the back? What do you think?
