When Kate from katepruitt moved her bedroom to a different room in the house, she no longer had the space for her old beside tables. She wanted to use an old chair but didn’t have two important things: a place for private things and surface space.

She decided to work on the simple pine IVAR Chair to create a multi-purpose bedside table, complete with a drawer and swivel lamp.
