SwedeShop

Danilo Campos created a great iPhone App to keep track while you are shopping at Ikea.
If you are not in love with the pencil and piece of paper they give you to write everything down, get SwedeShop! It is really easy to use. Set a budget and your local tax rate, and you are ready to start shopping.
If you see something you need/want just add it to the list, name the product, include a note if necessary, quantity, price, priority and a photo (take the picture or include one from your library). And don’t forget to note where you can find the product: self-service, housewares or if you have to order it.

You can now get SwedeShop for FREE! You have until 11:59 Pacific Time of Tuesday August 18.

Fun app! I realised there are 2 apps actually on the appStore doing the Ikea List. SwedeShop is one and the other one is called iShopFlat. Swedeshop looks nicer but I liked the way iShopFlat looks very much like the original Ikea paper..
Anyway, I think both are a good idea, we’ll see now which one evolves best..
This is cool, no exception. The only feature needed to improve this application is the ability to lookup the product by name or by the good ol’ 8 digit code.
This however would be dependant on Ikea release an XML/SOAP API to enable live lookup and query.
Why would I download an iphone app when i can’t even use the kitchen planner on my MAC. Do you plan to release a mac version?
Maybe because SwedeShop is just great! About the kitchen planner… we Mac users will have to hope that they decide to make one for use.
