Interestingly Sears did "Kit" homes shortly before the Great Depression, they also handled the mortgages which was a disaster for them when the economy tanked. Very excited about GreenTech though! I've always been a huge proponent of solar, but the barrier to entry has been too high, and it's tough to generate decent economy of scale when so many people hold off 'cause the payback time is so long and the prices are slowly falling.
