New: HAMRA Color
December 18, 2007 ~ New

It’s only been around 20 days since we introduced the HAMRA seating units to you. Well, Ikea now brings you the HAMRA sofas in this creamy yellow color (The link doesn’t seem to be working at the moment, but the one for the right-hand does however).
It is still $1,299.00, by the way.

I really love the HAMRA series, I just bought one in brown…but what from the IKEA programme do you recommend to combine with it?
I have been trying to find the Hamra in redbrown with the chaise on the left for several months and can never find it in stock in New England, Boucherville or Montreal (I am in Vermont). Does anyone have a suggestion as to where to go to get this? Even a floor model would be fine! Thanks.
FYI: this color is FAR from “buttery” in actuality. The pictures on the Ikea websites do little to capture Mjuk yellow. It’s a much more saturated and deep color in person; a vibrant marigold. I love it and am writing this from a newly delivered “Mjuk yellow” Hamra, but it’s a much bolder choice than the site’s pictures would have you believe.
Hi!
I am searching for Hambra (Seating unit+loveseat+arm left) in muzek yellow. It seems to be out of stock everywhere. Any ideas/ tips on how to find this?
Thanks,
Mark
I was told by a phone rep that IKEA does not keep any of the Hamra line in stock in their stores. However, there is a way to save on the high shipping costs… If you go to a store and order it in person, you can choose to have it shipped from the store (usually much cheaper than ordering online), or have it delivered to the store for no shipping cost. You’ll have to pick it up at the store when it’s delivered, but it saves a lot of money.
