Have 4 black tobias chairs and so regret not buying six as can’t find the black ones anywhere in the world now. If anyone wants to get rid of two black tobias chairs I am keen as to buy.

I have 4 of these. Actually regret getting them. They may look sharp and deceptively easy to keep clean, but from experience only plastic polish and a special type of cloth will keep them looking pristine. Any other material, including soft cloth, sponges, paper towels etc, will leave minute scratches that grow more evident after every wipe.

Hi, can anyone tell me if this chair is available anywhere around the world?? it’s been out of stock for the longest time in Singapore and attempts to locate 1 in Ikea outlets overseas have been futile!

I just got a couple of clears from the Stoughton store. They also have black. $99, per the 2009 catalog. Fantastically comfy for an unupholstered chair. It’s nice and wide, which is good because I am. Just springy enough. Feels substantial, unlike a lot of Ikea stuff that looks like it was designed to last for a year in a dorm and then be tossed out. I hope this is a hit for Ikea and they come out with a bunch of colors.

I actually called Ikea and although they were not expecting any shipments to my nearest Ikea store, and said that they would NOT be in the next catalog, I was able to order them by phone (but not online). There was a delivery fee, of course, but I’m just happy to have them! They arrived within just a few days and I LOVE THEM!! So try calling Ikea..
